Hello again everyone :)

Sorry I didn't write yesterday... anyway I'll talk a bit about yesterday first. It's always tough to play your first match in each tournament. I arrived in Paris on Monday and played on Tuesday. Not the best preparation! I was able to win, then had a massage and some physio, then ate and went back to the hotel.

I was supposed to play doubles today but my partner, Lucie Safarova, is injured. She has had trouble with the same leg before. It was important for her not to play, so it's okay. Hopefully we'll play together soon!

My second round match is tomorrow against Barbora Zahlavova Strycova. We know each other very well. We've practiced together and it's always tough to play your friends. I'll answer a few questions now... please send more!

Do you ever have time to read books? Radek, Czech Republic
Yes I do, I like reading a lot. I've almost finished the Millennium books. I don't have a favorite author, I just look for a good book.

What was the big turning point of your career? Artem
It's tough to say, I feel like each match and each tournament is something special. Maybe it was when I won Hobart two years ago, or Wimbledon...

Who are your best friends on the tour? Simona, Slovakia
Mostly Czech players like Lucie, Barbora... also Stefanie Voegele.

What was your best memory from Australia this year? Paul, Australia
Of course winning Brisbane and reaching the quarterfinals of the Australian Open. I didn't really do anything else special... so mostly tennis memories!
