Hello everyone, one last time from Paris...
It's very special for me not only to win this title, but to beat Kim in the final. She's going to be the new No.1 and to beat her in a final is really nice. This was a good tournament for me. I didn't really have any time to see anything in the city, like I didn't go to the Louvre, but I did go to some shops :)
My fitness coach came here before the semifinals, which helped. I was so tired after my second round and quarterfinal and he knows what I have to do, he knows the stretching and all that. And it was nice to share the victory.
I've been told I'll be No.14 on the new rankings, which is like a dream. It's tough to say if I'll get to the Top 10 this year... there are only 10 players who can get there, so it's tough to break through... but I'm going to keep working hard and hopefully I'll stay healthy too, and I will try to keep improving. We'll see...
It has been very nice doing the blog for the WTA website. Thank you all for your support and your questions! Hopefully I'll do it again soon :)
Until next time...
