Hello everyone,
Thank you to everybody for all your support. Especially my fans in China!
I was just told about getting to Top 30 and I'd like to thank everybody, as well as my coach, who worked with me in 2004 and 2005 when I was doing very well too. I've been keeping healthy with no injury or illness, and that helps a lot. I focus on training and playing, but I'm very happy my ranking is going higher!
I played my first match of the tournament today and beat Sloane Stephens, 62 61. The score looked easy but the match was definitely tough. I only had one day after Miami to prepare for the clay and it's always difficult with the sliding, but I'm happy I was able to win. I really like this tournament - I come here every year and do well here too. I like everything about Charleston.
I like clay - I like every surface. Even grass. We don't have too many chances to play on grass, but next year the Olympics will be on it, and I'm looking forward to that. Anyway, for the next few months I hope I'll do well on clay :)
Thank you for reading and I'll talk to you tomorrow :)
