SEOUL, South Korea - Two semifinals, five quarterfinals, two No.1 wins... it has been a very strong season for Dominika Cibulkova, and now for the second straight week one of Slovakia's best writes the latest WTA Player Blog.

My coach and I.

Thursday, September 22, 2011

I had a pretty good day today. I had practice in the morning with my coach. After me, Galina Voskoboeva went on the court for her match. Then I did some exercises my fitness coach gave me. Then I had a nap at the hotel from 4pm to 6pm and I just got a massage from my physio. So it has been good!

Bronislava is enjoying the trip. It's not easy at a tennis tournament because I'm at work, but we still have some good times together :) She tries to find things to do while I'm practicing or warming up, like walking around the site or watching other players' matches. Of course when I'm playing my matches she's in the stands supporting me! It's good to have family or good friends accompanying you on the tour. It makes the travelling warmer and more interesting.

Speaking of travelling, for some reason the time difference hasn't been much of a problem this trip. I was afraid of jetlag but I've managed it well this time. It only took me two or three days... I'm on Asia time already :)

I have my quarterfinal match tomorrow and will write more!

Goodnight!

Domi :)

Who are your best friends on the WTA? Andrea, Slovakia
That's a tricky question. I'm good with most of the players (at least I think I am!) I get along particularly well with most of the Czech players.

Will you be going home for Christmas? John & Sona, Toronto
Ohhh, John and Sona from Toronto are actually my very good friends! I'm saying hello this way :) Of course, like every year, I'll be back home for a few days for Christmas. We'll go to the Christmas markets and everything... I love it ;)

What are your goals for the rest of 2011 and 2012 too? Davies
I don't usually say my goals - I like to keep them to myself. But I still have five more tournaments this year, so let's see if I manage to get closer to my goal...
