Lucie: Hi everyone! We're writing our first blog for the WTA this week, and it's also our first time at the WTA Championships. It's awesome - everyone takes care of us here, the hotel is close, everything is perfect - we're so excited. It's all new for us and we're looking forward to a great week here in Istanbul.

Andrea: Being here at the WTA Championships is like a treat for us after a great season. We arrived on Wednesday because we were busy playing in Luxembourg last week, so we're still getting to know the site today. We love seeing our picture on the walls here and in the hotel lobby and everything! We're enjoying that. It's one of the first times we're in the spotlight at a tournament!

Lucie: It's definitely different to have our picture up. You go in the lobby and a big picture of us is one of the first things you see. It's amazing!

Andrea: We've started seeing parts of the city too - today we went to the Blue Mosque to film the Dubai Duty Free Travel Show, to the Hagia Sophia too. We filmed inside and outside and really enjoyed it - we hope it's a well cut video!

Lucie: It's not often we get time on the tour to go out and see the special parts of the city, so it was nice. Maybe we'll see somewhere else here.

Andrea: I wouldn't mind visiting the Grand Bazaar. But tomorrow will be a rest day and hopefully we'll play the whole weekend, so after the tournament we'll visit the market and other places, I'm hoping we'll have time!

Lucie: We'll write more tomorrow - thank you for reading!!
