Lucie: Hello again everyone - we just came from our semifinal match, then did our press conference, a TEB BNP Paribas suite visit, a little bit for a WTA behind-the-scenes video... and now we're writing the blog to you! It was a very close match today. We won the first set in a tie-break, and in that tie-break we went from 4-1 up to set point down. It was very tough and very important we won that first set, so that we were a step ahead in the second set...

Andrea: It was very exciting for us. It's our first time here and we knew they were an experienced team, and each one of them had won here a couple of times already, so they're used to playing right away from the semifinals and being under that pressure. And they were defending champions here too. We were aware of all of this, so we kept in our minds we had to play well until the last point. As Lucie said, the first set was up and down, but we managed to close it out with that big tie-break in the end, so we were happy!

Also, the crowd was great. Before the set point they were getting loud and cheering us. But they were also cheering for them in the first set when they had the set points, so they were a fair crowd. We also heard some Czech shouts, screaming things like 'Come on girls, you can do it' - so that was really nice to hear, that there were some Czech fans out there in the crowd as well!

Yesterday we took a really easy day. We both took a day off and stayed in the hotel, took some walks on the beach here, had a nice dinner, and then had some really nice girl talks in the evening of course!!

Lucie: We're very happy we're in the final. We are looking forward to that match, the last match for us on the WTA this year...

Andrea: But we are still in the zone for the Fed Cup next week ;)
