Tjena!!

That's how we say "Hi" in Swedish in a cool way.

I think I already told you about my love for sushi. So I didn't start crying when I came into the locker room after my match yesterday and saw this:

The massage lady's boyfriend had made them. Sooo good.

I turned 29 the other day but I'm suspecting something is wrong because if you look at my off-court activities yesterday I think I might be 79 years old. Doing crosswords:

So let's talk about today. I came out pretty flat today in my singles match. Some days your brain wants it, but your body doesn't do as it tells it. When things don't work you have to fight and I did... Losing the first set 6-1 I fought back and won the second 6-3, but Marina was too strong in the third, winning 6-3.

Never fun to lose but what was good today was that I got another chance to win a match in the afternoon. Me and Johanna played doubles and we won!! Everything was totally under control, winning 64 26 108. No, I was kidding..... that was a really tough match and we had to dig deep. So our match winning streak is now up to three!! C'mon!!

Playing with Johanna is fun, we know each other well................ and sometimes not so well. We played a match together for our Swedish club last year. I hit a very hard backhand crosscourt and then I heard a sound sounding like "out" so when the ball was coming back I just stopped it. All the players on the court turned around and looked at me like "what are you doing?" ...

- The umpire called it out???

Then Johanna explained that the sound I heard was just her saying "yours"....... (The Swedish dream team on fire.) Let's hope our communication works better in tomorrow's semifinal.

It's been a long day today so I will go to bed early and prepare for tomorrow's semifinal in doubles. I shall speak to you all again tomorrow!

One more thing...

You guys that follow me on Twitter know I like to share nice quotes. So I would like to finish today's blog with one from Michael Jordan:

"I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed..."
