Check in with Sofia Arvidsson on her day off before the doubles final. Who will be at the movies with them later? Why is this day emotional? How many times can she kick a tennis ball in the air?

Happy Friday everybody!

It's my favorite day of the week.

Breakfast at Starbucks with Johanna and her coach Jeff. Johanna is four years younger than me and she has stuff to learn. She doesn't drink coffee!! Can you imagine?? She prefers hot chocolate. But since we play good doubles together, I decided that this issue is not going to come between our friendship...

We practiced our tennis today but also took time to improve our soccer skills:

Johanna Larsson

I used to play soccer in a boys' team when I was younger. I like kicking with the tennis ball. My record is over 200. Before I play a match I always have to do my own age, otherwise I'm not allowed to play. So if you see me giving a walkover somewhere, you know why......

We spent many hours at the club today so tonight will be a relaxing one. First we'll go for sushi and then we'll head to the movies. Bradley Cooper will also be there. Okay, not really sitting next to us, but he will be in the movie.... always something.

This Friday one year ago was a little bit emotional. I had just come off the court from winning my semifinal when I recived a text from my hitting partner Stefan. His four-year-old godson had just died of cancer. Stefan was with me in Memphis but left earlier in the week so he could see Vilmer one last time. The little fellow fought hard and Stefan arrived home on Thursday to say goodbye, and then he died on Friday. It's not fair, but I hope Vilmer has found some cool friends to hang out with in heaven.

Tomorrow is the final and we are playing against Galina Voskoboeva and Kristina Mladenovic. The match is played second after seven in the evening. It's the last year the tournament is played in Memphis and I will really miss it!! But I'm happy I have so many good memories from here! And really cool to leave it playing a final on center court!

Speak tomorrow again!!
