Well today was not easy, Makarova is another difficult left-handed player and the court was a bit faster today, but I managed to win the match. I think today was the best match for me so far at this tournament. I was playing very well with my forehand cross, to make her hit backhands from outside the court and then I was more aggressive on the next shot. Today that play worked really well for me and actually I think my forehand was the key of the match. I also didn't make many mistakes today.

I'm very happy to reach the semifinals at such an important tournament, but it's also special because it's in Spain - I love Spain, I live in Valencia, and it's nice to have a tournament near home. I even came here by car, and a lot of my friends come here to see me, so it's just great. This is a very impressive city too - it's very clean and there are a lot of things to see. Hopefully I can see more of it soon.

Tomorrow I'm playing Serena. I already told you from one of the fan questions this week that she's the toughest player I have ever played against - she's always very tough. We played in the US Open semis and she played unbelievable, I couldn't make anything, she was too strong! But this time it's on clay, so it's different, and I will try to make it more difficult for her this time. We'll see tomorrow...

Now I'll just eat something, go back to the hotel to rest, then later we'll have dinner.

Have a good night!

Where is your favorite place to go on vacation? Lauren
Last year I went to the Maldives, and I think that's the best one!

Have you ever been to Brazil? What did you think of it? Diego
I've never been. I would like to go, soon - maybe for the Olympic Games in Rio, I hope!

What do you think you will do after tennis? Cristina, Spain
I really don't know. I never think about that. I don't think I would be a tennis coach, though.

What is your favorite movie and who is your favorite actor? Kworb
My favorite movie is My Best Friend's Wedding - I've seen it like 300 times! And my favorite actors are Julia Roberts and Denzel Washington.
