Hello again everyone,

Well I didn't win today, but it was a good match for me, and I was happy with the way I played. I was dominating a lot, really playing my game, but I just had some mistakes and that's why I lost the match. It was two close sets, 75 75, and I was actually serving for both sets, but I did some wrong things in certain moments. But I'm happy with how I played, especially after such a long break.

I have to say Alizé played a good match - she's running well and moving very well - but it was just my mistakes that were the problem. But next time I'll make sure that doesn't happen, for sure.

I'll just take all of this as preparation for the rest of the summer and of course the US Open.

After the match I had a few things to do. I had some good recovery - I have some issues with my body so I had to look after that, and I spent some time in the physio room. And then I came back to the hotel and was just doing nothing, really. Just relaxing and watching some movies - there's a Russian website where I can watch all the movies I want, ones that are on now or from the past, I can find anything I want. I can get all the channels we have in Russia. My favorites are the comedies :)

I'm not sure if I'm going to Cincinnati tomorrow evening or Friday morning - they're still trying to find the right tickets for me. I guess we'll see what happens - we'll decide everything tomorrow...

Right now the most important thing is playing my game and working hard so I don't have any injuries, that my knee feels good every day and that I can play and compete at my best moving forward.

I want to thank all of you for reading this week - I appreciate all of your support and hopefully I can do this again soon. And you can keep following me this year on my Twitter: @mkirilenko.

See you soon!
