Hello again everybody :)

I think the match tonight was a roller coaster for me. In the first set I was really concentrated and playing really well, then in the second set I got nervous because I saw I had the match in control, and I think I accelerated too much. In the third set I just told myself to stay calm, that she was playing well and to just do my best. So I got calmer and played better, and... ahhh, I'm so happy I won!

My day off yesterday helped me a lot, I think. I had already played two matches and one was 7-5 in the third, and with this weather it's really hard. I needed some time to recover, so it was just perfect.

Earlier today I put a picture up on Twitter of me and Carla outside the hotel - I've put the tweet here in the blog (look below!) we went to the shopping center to get a coffee. We just hung out, talked about the next tournaments, what we'd do in Indian Wells - we talked about playing golf, and if we have time going to Las Vegas also. I've never been there, and it would be nice just to see the city!

Tonight I'm going to celebrate with my coach because today was a good victory for me. I fought so hard and feel very proud of what I did today. So we'll go and have a nice dinner. It might take me a while to calm down though - when you play three long sets like this you're still really excited afterwards.

It's going to be another tough match tomorrow against Shvedova. I saw her play today and she was playing really well. I know she's a really amazing player, she did some amazing results the last few years, so I'll just have to go out there and try and play my best, and I hope I can win again.

What is your favourite routine right before a match? Patrick
I like to listen to music. I listen to Rihanna, David Guetta... I talk with my coach a lot too - we're moving and talking for about half an hour before a match. Also, an hour or an hour and a half before a match I'll eat something like white rice or pasta, chicken... but I don't eat too much, really.

Next year will you play both tournaments in Brazil do you think? Gil
I would love to come back here - I love Brazil - but the problem is that the first one is on clay, and it breaks my season up a little bit. To Florianopolis for sure though, and maybe to Rio one day too.
