ZHUHAI, China - With the China Open in the books, the Huajin Securities WTA Elite Trophy Zhuhai leaderboard is looking very different from last week. With her run to the final, French Open semifinalist Timea Bacsinszky vaulted to the top of the leaderboard after spending much of September in the middle of the pack. Also rocketing up the rankings was Ana Ivanovic, who reached the semifinals in Beijing, losing to Bacsinszky in three sets. With the top five still very much in contention for the BNP Paribas WTA Finals Singapore presented by SC Global, the next two weeks could still have plenty of changes in store, with the final Zhuhai leaderboard regardlessly comprising a stacked field at the $2.15-million WTA Elite Trophy Zhuhai.
