Biography

After a year-and-a-half break, one of the WTA's elite doubles teams reunited at the start of 2014.

In their last full season together, 2011, Kveta Peschke and Katarina Srebotnik collected a WTA-best six titles, including their first Grand Slam at Wimbledon.

Peschke and Srebotnik also made the final of the WTA Championships for the second straight year in 2011, finished the year as the No.1-ranked doubles team (they also shared the top spot on the individual doubles rankings for a couple of months) and were named the WTA Doubles Team Of The Year. They competed together through Wimbledon in 2013, then went their separate ways until this year.

Though her best results have come with Srebotnik, Peschke has had plenty of success with others, most notably Francesca Schiavone and Rennae Stubbs - each of whom with she qualified for the WTA Championships. Srebotnik has also been productive with Tina Krizan, Nadia Petrova and Ai Sugiyama - each of whom with she qualified for the WTA Championships. Srebotnik is also a five-time mixed doubles Grand Slam champion.
