Iveta Benesova and Barbora Zahlavova Strycova have been one of the WTA's most productive teams the past couple of years. Their history together dates back to 2005 but they really hit their stride in 2011, when they won four titles - tied for second-most of the year.
Benesova and Zahlavova Strycova's best result at a major was a run to the quarterfinals of the 2011 US Open. They also are undefeated in Fed Cup play as a duo, highlighted by clinching the winning point in the Czech Republic's 2011 semifinal victory over Belgium. The Czechs would go on to capture their first Fed Cup since 1988 later in the year.
"This is the best feeling," Zahlavova Strycova said. "It's a great achievement for the Czech Republic and for the whole team. We've worked so hard for this victory."
