Kveta Peschke and Katarina Srebotnik have been an elite team for a couple of years, truly establishing their dominance in 2011. That season they collected a WTA-best six titles, including their first major at Wimbledon.

"It's a terrific feeling. I've been playing for so many years, so this is the cherry on the cake," Peschke said. "I'm very proud of us - we played magnificently the whole tournament and through the whole year. We're happy to have the trophy in our hands."

Peschke and Srebotnik finished 2011 as the No.1-ranked doubles team (they also shared the top spot on the individual doubles rankings for a couple of months) and were named the WTA Doubles Team of the Year.
