BOGOTÁ, Colombia - Gisela Dulko and María José Martínez Sánchez will play for the Copa Sony Ericsson Colsanitas singles title on Sunday, after both players won their semifinals in straight sets on Saturday.

Martínez Sánchez, seeded seventh at the first clay court event of the season, was the first to advance, edging upstart Patricia Mayr in a few minutes shy of two hours, 75 75. Martínez Sánchez will be playing the second Sony Ericsson WTA Tour singles final of her career, having gone that far last spring at Barcelona (falling to Maria Kirilenko).

Dulko, the third seed, powered past another unseeded player, Edina Gallovits, in an hour and 14 minutes, 62 63. Dulko will now go for the fourth Tour singles title of her career, having won twice on red clay (2007 Budapest, 2008 Fès) and once on hardcourt (2007 Forest Hills). She has been runner-up a further two times, at 2005 Hobart (to Zheng Jie) and 2007 Pattaya City (to Sybille Bammer).

Sunday's final will mark the first professional encounter between 24-year-old Argentine Dulko and 26-year-old Spaniard Martínez Sánchez.

The doubles final wrapped up Saturday's play, with top seeds Martínez Sánchez and Nuria Llagostera Vives capturing their second Tour doubles title together, following a victory almost exactly a year ago in Acapulco. They beat No.2 seeds Dulko and Flavia Pennetta in a match tie-break final, 75 36 107. Both Spaniards now have six Tour doubles titles each.
