LUXEMBOURG, Luxembourg - For the fourth straight day a Top 4 seed was bundled out of the BGL Luxembourg Open, as Daniela Hantuchova fell to Shahar Peer in the quarterfinals of the International event on Friday.

Hantuchova had won both previous meetings against Peer, both both of those went to three sets, and Peer has been on a roll recently, taking back-to-back Sony Ericsson WTA Tour titles at Guangzhou and Tashkent. The Israeli came out on fire, building a 62 53 lead over the Slovak, eventually winning, 62 76(4).

The only seeds remaining in the semifinals now are No.5 seed Yanina Wickmayer and No.6 seed Sabine Lisicki, both of whom won earlier in the day. Wickmayer won a streaky match-up against fellow Belgian Kirsten Flipkens, 76(1) 46 61; Lisicki beat Patty Schnyder, 64 62.

"I think I played a pretty good match. I won the important points," Lisicki said. "I was very happy I won the first set because I was 4-3 down. It makes me very happy to feel good on the court again, especially after all the injuries. I am very much looking forward to playing the semifinals tomorrow."

Timea Bacsinszky wrapped up the final four line-up with a 67(3) 61 64 win over Katarina Srebotnik in an all-unseeded match-up.

In the semifinals on Saturday, Wickmayer will play Bacsinszky while Lisicki will play Peer. Wickmayer is 1-0 against Bacsinszky; Lisicki and Peer are 1-1.
