Whirlpool Launches 'Love Life' Player Book

London, Great Britian - On the first day of the Wimbledon Championships, Whirlpool launched the brand new "Love Life" book - an exclusive compilation of lifestyle tips from 15 of the best Sony Ericsson WTA Tour players. This lifestyle guide covers a range of different sections, from players offering hints and advice on nutrition and travelling to providing readers with a glimpse of the Tour's glamorous fashion scene, revealing a unique view into the lives of the leading players on the tour.
To coincide with the launch of "Love Life", Whirlpool has also spiced up and re-launched the acclaimed "Love Food" cookbook with recipes from seven new players, including Svetlana Kuznetsova and Martina Hingis. Budding chefs can now own a refreshed collection of the players' favorite recipes that will enable them to have friends and family over for dinner and impress them by serving up a delicious three-course meal.
Elena Dementieva and Nicole Vaidisova took time off ahead of their first round matches of the most eagerly awaited Grand Slam tournament of the year to join Dino Olivetti, Brand Director, Whirlpool Europe and Larry Scott, CEO of the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour, to launch the two publications and reveal not just their top tips for a healthier lifestyle but also their culinary skills!
With lifestyle tips, from Jelena Jankovic's advice on ensuring a balanced diet to Amélie Mauresmo's suggestion for a healthy exercise regime and finally to Maria Sharapova's views on looking good on and off the court, "Love Life" will certainly strike a chord with everyday fans who are eager to adopt a healthier lifestyle and learn top tips from some of the busiest women in the world today.
Furthermore, thanks to top players including Justine Henin, cooking enthusiasts can now prepare a culinary delight for friends and family from a great assortment of recipes including sumptuous starters like calamari fritti, spectacular main courses such as the penne all' arrabbiata and rounding the evening off in style with a delicious dessert like Serena Williams' carrot cake.

Proceeds from sales of the Whirlpool "Love Food" cookbook, which is available in different languages across Europe, will go to Habitat for Humanity, Whirlpool's official charity that seeks to eliminate poverty housing throughout the world. Whirlpool has supported the charity since 1999 and since then, through their involvement in women's professional tennis, has introduced the partnership to the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour in Europe. Whirlpool is committed to continuing its support of Habitat for Humanity and hopes that the book will appeal to tennis fans and food lovers across Europe.
