Eleven of the 30 International tournaments are in the books as players continue their quest to qualify for November's Commonwealth Bank Tournament of Champions. Only one player has won more than one event so far, Victoria Azarenka.

Caroline Wozniacki showed she's more than just an up-and-comer with a victory at The MPS Group Championships in Ponte Vedra Beach the week of April 6. It was the 18-year-old Dane's fourth career Sony Ericsson WTA Tour singles title and first this year. She survived a couple of challenges en route to the final, where she routed Aleksandra Wozniak, 61 62.

That same week, across the world in Marbella, Jelena Jankovic rebounded from a slow start to the season and survived Carla Suárez Navarro's upset bid in the final, 63 36 63, to capture the inaugural Andalucía Tennis Experience. It was the Serb's first Tour singles title of the season and 10th of her career.

The Barcelona Ladies Open the following week yielded a surprise winner, as Roberta Vinci knocked off defending champ Maria Kirilenko in the final, 60 64. It was the Italian's second career Tour singles title.

Other winners this year are Azarenka in Brisbane and Memphis, Elena Dementieva in Auckland, Petra Kvitova in Hobart, Vera Zvonareva in Pattaya City, María José Martínez Sánchez in Bogotá, Venus Williams in Acapulco and Marion Bartoli in Monterrey.
