BOGOTÁ, Colombia - A couple of them were tested, but none of Friday's quarterfinal winners at the XVIII Copa BBVA Colsanitas dropped a set, with No.1 seed Gisela Dulko leading the way.

Dulko, last year's runner-up here, is a match away from returning to the final after recording a routine 62 63 victory over No.6 seed Sandra Zahlavova. The Argentine, who is the only semifinalist yet to drop a set this week, will play No.5 seed Angelique Kerber on Saturday. The German topped Pauline Parmentier, 61 64, to advance to her first career Tour semifinal.

On the bottom half of the draw, No.8 seed Arantxa Parra Santonja will square off with unseeded Mariana Duque Marino after both won in straight sets Friday. Parra Santonja, who is having her best showing here in her seventh year playing the event, defeated No.3 seed Sara Errani, 75 62. The Spaniard had lost her last five Tour quarterfinals, but now is into a final four for the first time since 2003. A victory would put her into her first career Tour singles final.

Duque Marino, who is playing her first Tour event of 2010, overcame a 5-3 second set deficit in getting past No.7 seed Klara Zakopalova, 60 76(4). Not only is this the furthest the Colombian has advanced in six appearances here, this is the furthest she has advanced in any Tour event.

In the doubles event, second-seeded Dulko and Edina Gallovits and Olga Savchuk and Anastasiya Yakimova won semifinal matches Friday to set up an encounter in Saturday's final.
