MEMPHIS, TN, USA - Maria Sharapova is now one win away from her first Sony Ericsson WTA Tour title of the year and the 21st of her career, moving into the final of the Cellular South Cup with a 64 63 win over Petra Kvitova.
Sharapova, the No.1 seed at the International-level tournament, won in straight sets for the fourth time in four matches this week, claiming a close first set then rallying from 0-2 in the second set to prevail against Kvitova, the No.5 seed.

Arvidsson was responsible for taking out the No.2 seed, Melanie Oudin, in the quarterfinals. And she beat the American teenager handily as well, 61 63.
Sharapova and Arvidsson have played once before, with Sharapova up in the head-to-head, 1-0. Check out the pair's head-to-head here.
