KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia - Six Sony Ericsson WTA Tour players competing at the inaugural Malaysian Open - Melinda Czink, Alicia Molik, Galina Voskoboeva, Chang Kai-Chen, Yan Zi and Noppawan Lertcheewakarn - took some time out of their busy schedules on Sunday to pay a visit to the Kassim Chin Humanity Foundation. More than 60 children from the Foundation, their parents as well as Mrs. Kassim, founder of the Foundation, were on hand to welcome the players. The players put a smile on the children's faces as they handed out food packages and red packets to the underprivileged children.

"We players lead a privileged life and it is great and necessary for us to give back to the kids who are not as privileged," Czink said about the emotional visit. "It helps put things in perspective and I hope we can try and motivate and encourage them through this visit today. It is important for them to know that they can achieve what they want through hard work and perseverance."

"These small gifts that we have are great," Molik said. "It obviously means a lot to them and it is great to see the smiles on their faces."
