Seventeen-year-old Michelle Larcher de Brito has shown great promise during her brief time on the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour. Among her highlights so far are reaching the quarterfinals in Tashkent in 2008 and the third round at Roland Garros last May. She ascended to her career-high ranking of No.76 last July. Now, the rising star has a brand new website, available in Portuguese and English, where fans can further delve into her life and career.

Michelle's "Bio" page chronicles her career to this point, including how she was discovered as a 9-year-old and ended up at the Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy. Her "News" page provides details about all her latest matches, win or lose, and upcoming matches.

Michelle's "Photos" page includes photos from on and off the court organized by year going back to 2006. Of special interest is the "Childhood" section, which consists of a photo gallery of the Lisbon native's very early years in tennis when her racquet was almost as big as she was.

Michelle's "Video" page includes links to clips from her at Bollettieri, as well as interviews and commercials, though understanding Portuguese is necessary for some of them. Her "Media" page features PDFs of various magazine and newspaper articles about her. Fans can trade comments on all things Michelle on her "Forum" page.

Michelle is keeping up with today's technology, as she has a twitter and facebook page, both of which are linked to from her home page. For all this and more, visit Michelle's official website at michellelarcherdebrito.com.
