BRISBANE, Australia - Coordinated by the Starlight Children's Foundation, Daniela Hantuchova took some time out in Brisbane to visit some of the young patients at the Mater Children's Hospital, chatting and playing games.

Accompanied by two Starlight Captains, Hantuchova hoped to brighten the lives of the seriously ill children who had to spend the holiday season there.

"It was great to come to the Mater Children's Hospital and spend my time with the kids there. They were all fantastic," Hantuchova said. "The more I play the more I want to focus on these kinds of things, like my own foundation and giving back much more, since tennis has given me so much in my life."

The Starlight Children's Foundation receives no government funds, relying solely on the generosity of individuals and community partners such as the Brisbane International. Tennis fans can support the foundation by adding donations to any merchandise they purchase at the tournament this week. For more information, visit the foundation's official website, www.starlight.org.au.

Hantuchova is also a strong supporter of House Of The Smile, a children's hospital in Cambodia that treats kids suffering from HIV. The proceeds from her 2011 calendar go to House Of The Smile - help out by clicking here!
