Stats Corner: Yanina Against The Elite
Yanina Wickmayer

INDIAN WELLS, CA, USA - Yanina Wickmayer will be taking on her third Top 20 opponent this tournament when she plays No.17 Marion Bartoli in the semifinals of the BNP Paribas Open on Friday. But she was a teenager in each of those and since that 0-7 start has actually gone 10-8 against such opponents, including 2-0 so far this fortnight.
