Anabel Medina Garrigues
On Bartoli saying their match will be 50/50...
"I think it's more like 60/40 or 70/30. She's a great player, she's Top 10 in the world, and indoors is her preferred surface - so it's going to be tough. I think the chances are more with her - that doesn't mean I won't have my chances, but realistically she's the favorite. I'm happy she says it will be 50/50 though!"

On 2011 and 2012...
"In February I dropped into the 90s in the rankings, so to win two titles and finish the year in the Top 30 is just great. I hope next year I can do the same. I just have to stay focused and keep playing the same game. I'm also focusing a lot on the Olympics in the middle of next season - I'll try to get a medal for our country, which is very important. I want to improve in doubles too."

On Bali...
"It's a very nice tournament. Most people come to Bali for holidays, and we have the opportunity to come here to play. We can enjoy everything: the beach, the hotel, the pools... it's a little far from home, but it's a very special place."

Sabine Lisicki
On being compared to Graf...
"Steffi was an amazing player and achieved so many great things. It's fine to be compared with her, it has been like that over the past years, but I'm Sabine Lisicki - I'm giving it the best I have and we'll see what I achieve. Obviously I want to win a Grand Slam, and I would also like to be No.1 in the world, and I will give everything to get there. But it was a different time with Steffi."

Daniela Hantuchova
On Lisicki...
"Of course I'm going to go into the match hoping I'm gonna win, that's how I approach every single match. She's got a huge game - last time we played it was Birmingham, in the finals, and she killed me. But I feel I've been hitting the ball pretty well here. I think the court suits her game more than mine, but I'm going to try to be aggressive myself from the first point and we'll see."

On her season...
"It has been okay. At the beginning of the year I was fighting an injury, which wasn't good. I won another title in Pattaya, which was a really nice start to some good results, but I think the middle part was the best, starting with Roland Garros, where I beat the No.1 in the world in straight sets. I had a great grass court season as well, the finals of Birmingham and semis of Eastbourne. The summer could have been better... but overall I think it was okay."

On this tournament moving away from Bali next year...
"Everyone's going to be really sad. Anyone who has ever been here enjoys coming back. It's such a wonderful place to play a tournament, so relaxing with no distractions. It helps you play better because you're enjoying every minute."

Roberta Vinci
On Ivanovic...
"She's a great player and the defending champion here, so we will see. For sure I have a chance to win - I've won the last two times I played her, both on hardcourt. I feel confident and I like this surface. I like everything here. I'm happy to be here at the end of my greatest season. I've won three titles this year - one on grass and two on clay, so why not this one on hardcourt too?"

On Bali...
"Someone told me I played here in 2001, but that was 10 years ago and I don't remember anything! But in Italy it's winter now, so coming here is great. Sun, swimming pool, the sea, the food - everything is just perfect here."

Ana Ivanovic
On Bali...
"I love this tournament. I have great memories from winning here last year, and this year I've fallen in love with this place all over again. This year I came a few days earlier. It's just a different experience with everything, including the beautiful spas. We never usually find the time for things like that but here you just have to, it's so inviting. You can relax and wind down as much as you want. It's also great to compete here. It's sad this tournament is leaving Bali."

On Vinci...
"I am actually looking forward to revenge. We had some tough matches this year and she won both of them. She won a few tournaments this year - she's a great player and is in very good shape right now. It's going to be a tough match, no doubt about that, but I think I rate my chances pretty high this time."
