BOGOTÁ, Colombia - Only two seeds remain at the XX Copa BBVA Colsanitas after a Wednesday that saw No.3 seed Romina Oprandi, No.4 seed Jelena Dokic and No.7 seed Lourdes Domínguez Lino all hit the deck.

In the completion of a first round match suspended the previous day by rain, 19-year-old qualifier Paula Ormaechea reeled off the final three games for a 46 63 64 triumph over the former World No.4 Dokic. The Argentine's only previous WTA main draw match victory was over Simona Halep in the first round of last month's Australian Open

"The truth is I'm extremely happy about my win today. It's a very important win for me," Ormaechea said. "When I was a girl, Jelena was one of my idols. I've followed her whole career. I was sad when she wasn't playing. When I went onto the court with her yesterday it was really emotional but I think that helped me play better, and I was finally able to win the match today."

In a second round clash involving 2006 and 2011 Bogotá champion Domínguez Lino and Bogotá native and resident Mariana Duque-Mariño, Duque-Mariño was a 46 62 75 winner. Duque-Mariño's three best career results have all occurred here - a title in 2010, a quarterfinal appearance in 2008 and at least a quarterfinal appearance this year.

Oprandi was beaten by 18-year-old Timea Babos, 76(5) 64. The youngest player in the draw, Babos is into her first career quarterfinal.

No.1 seed Marina Erakovic, who completed her first round win over Stefanie Voegele on Wednesday, and No.5 seed Gisela Dulko are the only seeds left.

In a first round doubles match of note, Mailen Auroux and María Irigoyen beat Gisela Dulko and Paola Suárez, 64 64. It was Suárez's first match since returning to the WTA after a five-and-a-half-year retirement.
