MONTERREY, México - It was a very special day for two of the most popular players on the WTA this past Sunday, as Serena Williams and Gisela Dulko went to the Santa Lucía Riverwalk to play a game of tennis on water.

Williams and Dulko mounted an acrylic mini-tennis court that was floating on water and got some rallies going, with hundreds of spectators and media watching on. They showed off some impressive footwork, not just for the game, but for the dancefloor - with music blaring, both Williams and Dulko showed no hesitation and busted some moves, much to the delight of everyone watching.

The whole event was put on by the Whirlpool Monterrey Open.

"This is why I'm here, to see how beautiful this city is," said Williams, a former No.1 and 13-time Grand Slam champion. "The courts and venue are beautiful. I'm sad I was unable to play here. But I love México, and I love Monterrey!"

The Santa Lucía Riverwalk, or Paseo Santa Lucía in Spanish, is an artificial river in Monterrey, the capital city of the Nuevo León state. 1.55 meters long and 1.2 meters deep, it was completed in 2007; not only is it one of the main tourist attractions of the city, it is also very modernized - it has free wireless internet.
