JOHANNESBURG, South Africa - The Williams sisters visited South Africa over the weekend, the second leg of their 'Breaking The Mould' project aimed at spreading a message of empowerment in Africa - they had spent three days in Lagos, Nigeria, and now spent two days in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Day 1 in Johannesburg was Saturday, and on the agenda for the Williams sisters was a two hour tennis clinic at the Arthur Ashe Academy in Soweto, an urban area of Johannesburg. They also headed to the Monte Casino for a press conference to discuss the empowerment project, as well as talk about one of their biggest sources of empowerment - their long and illustrious careers.

"It's great to be in South Africa," Venus said. "It's an honor to be here."

Perhaps a little tired from travelling, Serena opened by saying how nice it was "to be in Australia" - she quickly corrected herself: "I'm already thinking of the Australian Open," she said. "I'm constantly thinking of Grand Slams!"

Day 2 in Johannesburg was Sunday and saw the Williams sisters play their much-anticipated exhibition match at the Ellis Park Indoor Arena - two days earlier Venus beat Serena in Lagos in front of 2,000 fans, 64 75, but this time Serena got her revenge, beating Venus in front of 4,000 fans, 63 64.

"South Africa, you guys are completely amazing," Serena told the absolutely enthusiastic crowd Sunday. "I have loved the time I've had here. It's been incredible. I have to come back and spend some weeks here on vacation."
