BRISBANE, Australia - Megan Moulton-Levy had a strong doubles campaign with Lindsay Lee-Waters in 2012, highlighted by a Premier-level semifinal showing in New Haven - so how did she spend her off-season? And will she bring us more of her photos this year? Here's Moulton-Levy in her own words.

On the first time she brought a camera on tour with her...
"To rack up as many points as possible my first year as a professional, I missed Christmas to play a 75K in Dubai and then a 50K in New Delhi. Before I left, my sister gave me a camera. From that point on I was hooked. I captured a monkey catching a banana in India and the rest is history!"

What kind of pictures are your favorite and why?
"A big reason I take a lot of pictures is because I have a faulty memory. Having a photo helps me remember what I've done. What I've come to realize is that moments come and go and to capture a moment where you can feel the emotions through a picture is what I love to do. People laughing, people crying - capturing a truly raw emotion. I also really enjoy taking shots of animals. I've started looking at them differently and even the not-so-cute animals are wonderful creatures of nature."

Are there any places you're looking forward to shooting in 2013?
"I am looking forward to shooting old and new. One of the coolest things about my job is that I get to experience the world. In 2013 I will see some new places such as Brisbane this week and Doha soon too. I can't wait to see what I see. Having said that, there is always something new to see even in a place I have been 10 different times. I hope that Paris shows me something new this year."

What have you been doing during the off-season, on court and off court?
"As you will see in one of my pictures there is no off-season! My season just ended a few weeks ago - I spent half of my off-season playing club tennis in France. I took a few days to rest and recoup before some killer off-season training, and also on the 14th of December I had a commitment ceremony with my partner of six years - it was one of the most exciting days of my life! Other than that I was spending time connecting with my family and friends and enjoying the holiday season!"
