MELBOURNE, Australia - In light of No.1 seeds Sara Errani and Roberta Vinci securing the Australian Open doubles crown, there is a chance of a feat that was once common but has become rare happening again.

If Victoria Azarenka takes the singles title on Saturday, it will be the first time in nine years that the singles and doubles events were both won by the top seeds at the same major. Here is a rundown of each time that has occurred in the Open Era:
