MIAMI, FL, USA - Serena Williams showed yet again on Monday that losing the first set is not necessarily a recipe for defeat for her in rallying past Dominika Cibulkova, 26 64 62, in the fourth round of the Sony Open Tennis.

"I think every time is different," Williams said of her penchant for comebacks. "This particular time I just thought to myself, 'Well I've been down worse. It's nothing new. Just keep fighting.' I never give up - it doesn't matter whether it's in life or on the tennis court, I keep fighting. That's what I kept doing today."

Williams has won nearly half her matches throughout her career when dropping the first set and has the best win percentage among all active players in that circumstance.
