MIAMI, FL, USA - Serena Williams, a five-time champion at the Australian Open, Miami and Wimbledon, needs two more wins this week at the Sony Open Tennis to join a list of three players in the Open Era who have captured the same WTA tournament at least six times. Here are those players along with the events they have won at least six times:

Roland Garros: 7 titles
US Open: 6 titles
Indianapolis: 6 titles

Martina Navratilova
Chicago: 12 titles *most titles any player has won at a WTA event
Eastbourne: 11 titles
Wimbledon: 9 titles
Washington DC: 9 titles
Dallas: 9 titles
WTA Championships: 8 titles
Los Angeles: 8 titles
Orlando: 7 titles
Filderstadt/Stuttgart: 6 titles
Houston: 6 titles

Steffi Graf
Berlin: 9 titles
Wimbledon: 7 titles
Roland Garros: 6 titles
Hamburg: 6 titles
Zürich: 6 titles
