MIAMI, FL, USA - Serena Williams, a five-time champion at the Australian Open, Miami and Wimbledon, needs two more wins this week at the Sony Open Tennis to join a list of three players in the Open Era who have captured the same WTA tournament at least six times. Here are those players along with the events they have won at least six times:

WTA Championships: 8 titles
Los Angeles: 8 titles

Houston: 6 titles
