PARIS, France - Kim Clijsters made a special appearance for USANA in Paris over the weekend, helping them celebrate their first year anniversary in Europe at their European Conference.

Clijsters, a USANA Brand Ambassador, was the featured speaker at the event on Saturday and spoke to more than 600 of USANA's European Associates at Le Grand Rex, an historic venue - actually the largest cinema, theater and music venue in Paris. She also hit autographed tennis balls to the crowd and did media interviews throughout the day, including with Eurosport and L'Equipe. It was a big celebration for the company in Europe - they are now in 16 markets throughout the continent.

The athletic Belgian, a former World No.1 with four Grand Slam titles to her name - three US Opens and one Australian Open - talked about how life has been since she retired from the tour last year.

"My family is No.1 now," Clijsters commented. "Of course they were already a big part of my life when I was travelling the last few years, but now that I'm home I'm actually enjoying the normal things more, like picking Jada up from school, dropping her off - in the past Brian and Jada were following me, but now I'm more into her routine. I'm a normal mother now and spending more time at home. I also have my tennis academy, which I've been working on quite a bit since I retired from playing last year."

Looking back, would Clijsters have changed anything about her tennis career? "The great thing about this is I feel I tried everything I could with my knowledge at the time, so I wouldn't change anything," she said. "Of course as you get older you learn more about yourself, which is why I won more Grand Slams later in my career, but I really feel like I followed my heart and surrounded myself with some good, professional people, who all tried to help me get the best out of myself. There's not one secret."

Clijsters also talked about how part of her success in her tennis career and her continued health in her post-tennis career has been thanks to USANA vitamins and supplements - that she believes they are important to athletes as well as every day people. The Belgian's favorite supplement is USANA's BiOmega, and now that she is expecting her second child, her health is of even greater importance.

USANA is the Official Health Supplement Supplier of the WTA. Over 160 WTA players take USANA vitamins and supplements - other USANA Brand Ambassadors include Top 10 star Samantha Stosur, as well as Sloane Stephens, Zheng Jie, Liezel Huber and Aleksandra Wozniak.
