Quotable Quotes: Aga On University
Agnieszka Radwanska

MIAMI, FL, USA - Agnieszka Radwanska has talked about her double life before - that not only is she a professional tennis player, she's also a student of tourism at the Polish University in Krakow.

She talked about her studies recently at the Sony Open Tennis in Miami...

On why she chose to study tourism...
"I think tourism is a very nice profession and they prepare us well there, especially since we are learning everything - law, finance, economics, everything. It's great to study something like that."

On how she balances tennis and her studies...
"They really, really help us so we can do our exams whenever we are ready. So whenever we go home we go to the university and study for our exam, and when we're ready we go back there and take our exam. If they didn't help us like that, and if we had deadlines, it would be impossible to study. I'm very appreciative they are helping me in this way and that I can do my exams whenever I want."

On whether she is doing any of her studies online...
"No, no, no, it's not online. Nothing online. I just go there myself whenever I'm home."

On where she is in her program...
"I did my third semester during the off-season, and since then I haven't been there. Since the beginning of the year I have been so busy, so I haven't had time to go back there. But we'll see. It's good that, like I said, I don't have any deadlines. I may even be studying eight years. But it's no rush."

On studying with her sister, Urszula...
"Yes, we study together. I was waiting for her. I had already finished my high school and was just waiting for her to finish her high school so we could study at the university level together."

On travelling with her sister...
"It's great, especially since we are travelling 10 months of the year, and it's much easier when you have family with you. We were already doing everything together our whole lives, like school, practicing together for like 19 years already - I think playing the same tournaments and the same tour is much more fun when we're together. We are always supporting each other and always cheering.

"I think it's much, much better this way."
