BEIJING, China - Every month there's a lot happening with the WTA in China - off the court, on the social media pages of Chinese players, hot topics - catch up on the best from April right here...

Li Graces Cover Of Time Magazine
TIME Magazine announced its annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world in its April 29th issue and Chinese star Li Na wasn't just on the list, she was also on the cover, making her the third Chinese athlete to do so after basketball star Yao Ming and Olympic hurdling champion Liu Xiang.

"I am so excited to be featured on the cover of TIME magazine's 100 Most Influential People In The World issue," Li said about the prestigious honor last month. "It's a great honor for me to be in the position of being able to help grow, promote and further build the sport of women's tennis around the world, especially in my native China. I couldn't be more honored to be on the list that includes some of the most talented people in the world, and to make an impact on women and women athletes.

"I am grateful to TIME for giving women's tennis the recognition it deserves."

And the lead-up to Roland Garros is heating up - do you remember these five clay court moments?

Clay Court Memories

1. Serena Williams beat her sister Venus Williams to win her first French Open title in 2002.
2. Jelena Jankovic beat Serena Williams in the semis of Rome in 2010 - having beaten Venus Williams the round before, she is the only player ever to beat them both at the same tournament on clay.
3. Li Na became the first Asian player to win a Grand Slam title at Roland Garros in 2011.
4. Justine Henin fell to Sam Stosur at the French Open in 2010 - it was her last match at the event.
5. Maria Sharapova won the French Open in 2012 to complete her Career Grand Slam.
