Hello everyone - this is my first time doing the WTA Blog, but I've done a blog before for another website and it was fun, and I think I did a pretty good job, so I hope you enjoy this one too :)

I arrived in Brussels on Friday. It was actually a very stressful day but I pulled through it and had a nice day here. And Brussels is beautiful. Since I arrived here I've basically been seeing a lot of the city by car, just enjoying it all out of the window - basically window shopping! It's so green here, and even though the weather hasn't been so great it's still nice seeing all the buildings and the palaces around here, it's pretty cool. And I also came to the site on the weekend and it's of course very nice too. I've been practicing pretty much every day since I got here and have just been getting my rhythm...

I couldn't believe I drew Bojana Jovanovski in the first round! The night before I came here we had dinner together and had so much fun, laughing a lot and talking about how we're both coached by our dads and everything... we even scheduled a practice session for Sunday. But then we found out we drew each other first round, so we had to cancel the practice! But we're still friends, obviously. Our matches are always tough and today was no different - I'm happy I came out strong in the end.

Another thing about Brussels... last year I was really bad and ate a lot of chocolate here, so much that I had to be on a diet afterwards! This year I decided not to do this again, not to make the same mistake. I'm staying away. I know how it tastes already. I'll probably get some for my mom though :)

Tonight I'm just going to do everything in my power to recover from this tough match and prepare for my next one. My fitness coach is leaving tomorrow so we'll probably go for a nice dinner, as well.

Have a good night everyone and talk to you again tomorrow!
