Last Pre-Wimbledon Grass Events On Tap

Eastbourne has attracted its typically loaded field, with its last five champions and four Grand Slam winners among those in the draw.
2008 Eastbourne champ Agnieszka Radwanska is the No.1 seed. Although that is her lone WTA grass court title to date, the Pole showed she is quite adept on the surface in reaching her first Grand Slam final at Wimbledon last year.
Li Na is seeded second while 2012 Eastbourne runner-up Angelique Kerber is seeded third. Though fourth-seeded Petra Kvitova hasn't been in her best form as of late, her grass court game can measure up to anyone's in the field, as evidenced by her Wimbledon title in 2011 - which came on the heels of her runnner-up showing in Eastbourne. Marion Bartoli also is looking to rediscover her form on the grass; she reached the Wimbledon final in 2007 and won Eastbourne in 2011.
Others to keep an eye on include former World No.1s Caroline Wozniacki and Ana Ivanovic and new member of the Top 10 Maria Kirilenko. Wozniacki has an especially tough first round test, though, in the form of defending champion Tamira Paszek.
The lone former 's-Hertogenbosch champ in its draw this year is 2011 winner and No.1 seed Roberta Vinci. A solid season for the Italian has been highlighted by her eighth WTA title in Katowice in April. However, a first round challenge awaits in the form of Kaia Kanepi, who was victorious just last month in Brussels. And potential second round foe Simona Halep is fresh off her maiden WTA title in Nürnberg on Saturday.
Daniela Hantuchova and Andrea Hlavackova are the No.1 seeds in doubles. Though they have never paired up, Hantuchova is a nine-time WTA doubles champion and Hlavackova has 12 WTA doubles titles to her name.
