LONDON, England - In a rematch of February's Memphis final, Kristina Mladenovic and Galina Voskoboeva got the better of Sofia Arvidsson and Johanna Larsson once again in first round doubles action at Wimbledon on Tuesday.

Seeded 10th this fortnight, Mladenovic and Voskoboeva converted on five of eight break point opportunities while never getting broken on their own serve in their 52-minute, 62 60 rout of Arvidsson and Larsson.

Mladenovic and Voskoboeva first teamed up in Memphis and since their triumph there, their best showings have been a semifinal outing in Madrid and a quarterfinal appearance at the French Open.

Mladenovic has also been victorious this year with Lucie Safarova in Charleston and Chan Hao-Ching in Oeiras, and her three WTA doubles titles are tied with Timea Babos, Kimiko Date-Krumm, Sara Errani, Nadia Petrova, Katarina Srebotnik and Roberta Vinci for the most so far this season. Thus, Mladenovic has seen her doubles ranking soar to a career-high No.14 in recent weeks.

In the only other doubles match played Tuesday, Varvara Lepchenko and Zheng Saisai were 62 62 winners over Eva Birnerova and Stefanie Voegele in just over an hour. The American-Chinese pairing have had strong results in Grand Slam play so far this year, reaching the semifinals at the Australian Open and quarterfinals at the French Open.

Three-time Grand Slam champions and No.1 seeds Errani and Vinci get their campaign for their first Wimbledon title started on Wednesday, as do No.2 seeds Andrea Hlavackova and Lucie Hradecka.

In a compelling match-up involving unseeded teams, Francesca Schiavone and Samantha Stosur will play Lisa Raymond and Laura Robson. Stosur is a two-time Grand Slam doubles champion alongside Raymond. Raymond is a six-time Grand Slam doubles winner, including a triumph at Wimbledon in 2001 with Rennae Stubbs.
