This year's Wimbledon is just the fifth Grand Slam in the Open Era in which none of the Top 3 seeds reached the quarterfinals.

LONDON, England - With No.1 seed Serena Williams the latest seed to fall at this upset-ridden Wimbledon, No.4 seed Agnieszka Radwanska is the highest-seeded quarterfinalist. How rare is it for none of the Top 3 seeds to make it to the quarterfinals of a Grand Slam? This is just the fifth time in the Open Era, and interestingly enough, three of those have occurred since 2011. Here is each instance of it:
