ST. PETERSBURG, FL, USA - The WTA and USANA continued the Champions For Change program on Tuesday, pledging their ongoing support of the USANA True Health Foundation, a not-for-profit charity whose mission is to provide the most critical human necessities to those suffering or in need.

At Tuesday's on-court presentation, WTA Chairman & CEO Stacey Allaster and former World No.1 Jelena Jankovic donated $5,000 to the USANA True Health Foundation on behalf of the WTA, at the Rogers Cup. The WTA aims to provide over $75,000 to the foundation throughout the partnership.

Champions For Change, a joint USANA and WTA initiative, will see WTA stars present donations to the USANA True Health Foundation throughout 2013, culminating in a significant fundraising event. Daniela Hantuchova participated in the first Champions For Change presentation at Indian Wells.

Jankovic is the second recipient of the Champions For Change award, selected for her charitable work with children in her homeland of Serbia, as well as UNICEF. "I feel very honored to be chosen as the recipient for Champions For Change," she said. "Travelling the world as a professional tennis player affords me the opportunity to give back to children in need, so I am humbled to be associated with the USANA True Health Foundation, which makes a difference in so many people's lives."

"The WTA are proud to be pledging our ongoing support to the USANA True Health Foundation and taking part in Champions For Change,"Allaster said. "It is great to see our global stars, such as Jelena, becoming involved in USANA's worldwide efforts, and assisting in such a worthwhile cause."

"The assistance the WTA has provided has been tremendous and we could not be more thankful for its partnership," said USANA True Health Foundation President Elaine Pace. "As we move forward with the Hurricane Sandy rebuild this fall, we know we will be able reach our goals with its support."

USANA Health Sciences, a global nutritional supplements company, created the foundation to rapidly and effectively help deserving populations worldwide in times of need, and to help improve both their health and living conditions. This includes, but is not limited to, providing nutrition, clothing, shelter, medical assistance and health education. The foundation was created by Dr. Myron Wentz, USANA's founder, and USANA CEO Dave Wentz, to help expand the company's ongoing charitable efforts.

The WTA made a donation of $25,000 to the USANA True Health Foundation during the TEB BNP Paribas WTA Championships - Istanbul 2012. USANA is one of the WTA's leading partners and is its Official Health Supplement Supplier. Since 2006, the company has provided high quality supplements and meal replacement products to over 160 WTA players, including USANA Ambassadors Kim Clijsters, Sam Stosur, Sloane Stephens, Zheng Jie, Aleksandra Wozniak and Liezel Huber.
