The Tashkent Open was the fifth WTA event in 2013 in which the No.1 seeds were victorious in both singles and doubles.

The Tashkent Open featured the somewhat unusual occurrence of the No.1 seeds in singles and doubles winning the tournament. In fact, that was just the fifth instance of a No.1 seed sweep in the 47 WTA events played so far this year. Here is a rundown of each occurrence:
