ISTANBUL, Turkey - The WTA has donated $5,000 to the USANA True Health Foundation, a not-for-profit charity whose mission is to provide the most critical human necessities to those suffering or in need. The WTA's ongoing support for the organization has seen $65,000 donated since 2011.

At the TEB BNP Paribas WTA Championships, WTA Chairman & CEO Stacey Allaster and USANA Brand Ambassador Sloane Stephens made the donation to the USANA True Health Foundation.

"The WTA applauds USANA's humanitarian efforts through the establishment of the USANA True Health Foundation. We are honored to play a role in helping USANA in their global efforts and support this important cause," Stacey Allaster, Chairman & CEO of the WTA, said at the announcement.

"The WTA has played a substantial role in our humanitarian efforts this year through the generous donations we've received from it over the past seven months," Elaine Pace, the President of the USANA True Health Foundation, said of the news. "We are grateful for this wonderful partnership and thank the WTA for their continued support in helping us aid those in need around the world."

"I'm not only proud to be a USANA Ambassador because of the great products, but also to be associated with a company that is trying to make a difference to those less fortunate," said Stephens, who became a USANA Brand Ambassador this year. "The USANA True Health Foundation is helping millions of people around the world, and I'm happy to be part of such a worthwhile cause."

In 2013 the WTA and USANA joined forces for Champions For Change, which saw players like Daniela Hantuchova and Jelena Jankovic recognized for their charitable efforts, with donations being made too.

USANA Health Sciences, a global nutritional supplements company, created the foundation to help deserving populations worldwide in times of need, and to help improve both their health and living conditions. This includes, but is not limited to, providing nutrition, clothing, shelter, medical assistance and health education. The foundation was created by Dr. Myron Wentz, USANA's founder, and USANA CEO Dave Wentz, to help expand and enhance the company's on-going charitable efforts.

USANA is one of the WTA's leading partners and serves as its Official Health Supplement Supplier. Since 2006, the company has provided high quality nutritional supplements and meal replacement products to over 160 WTA players - Kim Clijsters and Sam Stosur are also among its ambassadors.
