WTA Diary: Exos, Awards & UFC
Venus and Serena Williams

Every week there's a lot happening on the WTA - on the court, off the court, by the numbers, even a few tweets... catch up on it all in this week's WTA Diary.

Ch-ch-ch-ch-Changes
Before playing an exhibition in Buenos Aires last week, Serena Williams discussed the impact she and older sister Venus have had on the game.

"We changed tennis," Serena said. "We brought passion and fashion, wearing extravagant clothes. And also style, power as a new skin color as we are African-Americans. We improved tennis.

"I think that totally changed the dynamic of the game. I remember in particular Venus started wearing all these amazing outfits and I was so influenced by that. I definitely think we had a huge impact on tennis in that way. As well, of course, bringing such power into tennis, and bringing a new color."

Serena Vs Vika
The new season may still be a month away but Serena is already getting ready to resume her rivalry with Victoria Azarenka. Later this month, the WTA's top two players will meet in an exhibition in Thailand.
