CONSTANTA, Romania - Last December, three Romanian tennis stars - the WTA's Sorana Cirstea and the ATP World Tour's Horia Tecau and Victor Hanescu - went to Bucharest for a tennis day called Over The Net, meeting their fans, giving lessons, handing out gifts and signing some autographs.

This year the spirit was very much alive again this past weekend, except it took place at the Tenis Club Idu over in Constanta, and this time Cirstea and Tecau were joined by another Romanian rising star, Simona Halep, who captured her first six WTA titles this year and rocketed up to No.11 in the world.

There was more good news for Cirstea on the weekend - she passed 100,000 followers on Facebook.
