Quotable Quotes: WTA Stars On Dubai
Caroline Wozniacki

DUBAI, UAE - There's a reason the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships attracts a packed field year after year - well, many reasons. Here are some of the WTA stars on Dubai in their own words...

Sorana Cirstea on how Dubai takes care of the players...
"I'm always happy every single time I come here because they treat us so well. They try to accomodate us as best as possible. It's so easy for us - the hotel, everything - it makes a huge difference. I always say you can see how well the tournament is doing by looking at the draw, and this is one of the strongest draws of the whole year. So it's a tournament that knows how to treat their players."

Caroline Wozniacki on her favorite things about Dubai...
"I love that the hotel and the courts are in one big complex. It makes it very easy for us players not to have the travel time. And I think Dubai, in general, is such a great place. There are so many nice restaurants and so many fun things to do. There's a lot of reasons why I love it here so much."

Venus Williams on stopping at Dubai Duty Free before leaving for home...
"Oh my gosh, I stop in Dubai Duty Free almost every time I'm here. I'm almost always missing my flight because I have to get one more present for myself, sadly! I definitely see that motif continuing.

"I don't know what it's going to be this year - we'll see. I love the watch with the calculator..."

And on what she enjoyed most about her stay this week...
"I have enjoyed being here with Serena, being able to be at the same tournament - we don't always get to do that, and that was a lot of fun. But obviously the tournament really takes care of the players here. It makes it super easy for us. It's enjoyable. You really don't have to worry about anything here."

Serena Williams on the people of Dubai...
"I like Dubai a lot - it's a great tournament and a great place to come. What I like most about Dubai is just the city - I go to a restaurant and see a guy and he's like, 'I'm from New York.' And another guy, they are all staff, and he's from London. Another guy is from Nigeria. Another guy is from Asia. It's just an incredible mix of people from absolutely everywhere in the world - it's a beautiful, beautiful thing.

"And everyone is treated the same, so it's just great. I really love it."

Jelena Jankovic on why she comes back to Dubai every year...
"I always enjoy coming back here to Dubai. I have the residence here and I love the weather. I really enjoy playing this tournament. I have a lot of fans here, and a lot of Serbs who come out and support me, as well as the locals here and the foreigners. It's just really nice to have that support."
