What a difference 10 months has made for Simona Halep. After her first round loss at the Mutua Madrid Open last May, the 22-year-old Romanian was ranked No.64 and had yet to capture a WTA title. Not only has she collected seven of them since as her ranking has skyrocketed, but she has amassed a WTA-best 57 match wins as of the end of Wednesday's play at the BNP Paribas Open, where she is into yet another semifinal. Here are the WTA match wins leaders since Madrid:
