WTA Diary: Flavia's 'What If' Moment
Flavia Pennetta

Every week there's a lot happening on the WTA - on the court, off the court, by the numbers, even a few tweets... catch up on it all in this week's WTA Diary.

If…
On Sunday in Indian Wells, Flavia Pennetta defeated Agnieszka Radwanska to pick up the biggest title of her 14-year career. However, things could have been very different…

"I perfectly remember after the match with Francesca Schiavone last year, the day after I was in the garden running and talking with my physio, Max, almost crying because the feeling and everything was so bad. So I think without him, without my coach, my family, maybe I'd have quit," she said. "And now, after one year, we have the trophy."

Here's how Twitter reacted to Flavia's first title since 2010.

The Draw's Out
And Aga won't be happy. If she recovers from the knee injury she suffered in Indian Wells in time to play, she'll have her work cut out getting through a quarter of the draw that includes Simona Halep, Venus Williams, Eugenie Bouchard, Dominika Cibulkova and Alizé Cornet.

Miami is also the second tournament in this year's WTA Draw Challenge.

WTA Live
This year's fourth outing of WTA Live All Access Hour presented by Xerox took place on Tuesday. But don't worry if you missed Serena and company in action. You can re-live all the action here.

Working With Auntie
Mary Pierce took some time out from her commentary work for the BBC in Indian Wells to talk about life post-tennis.

C'mon!
Even when she's not on court, Ana Ivanovic's trademark fist pump is never far away.

Happy Birthday, Sloane!
What do you buy a Top 20 tennis player for their 21st birthday? A 12-person, three-room tent, of course.
