MIAMI, FL, USA - The Sony Open Tennis will see Venus Williams return to the court for the first time since her memorable triumph in Dubai. It will also see her sporting the latest design from her EleVen By Venus Williams range.

However, she will not be the only one kitted out in EleVen colors.

On Wednesday, EleVen By Venus Williams unveiled former Top 20 player Alisa Kleybanova as its latest brand ambassador. In her new role, the Russian will wear and promote the line at tournaments, as well as participate in events for the brand.

Kleybanova has recently returned to the tour following a successful battle with Hodgkin's lymphoma and was handpicked by Williams to be part of the brand.

"Alisa is not just a great athlete and tennis player, but she represents the strength of a fighter," Williams said. "I admire Alisa's passion, making her the perfect match for EleVen By Venus Williams."

After briefly returning to the tour in 2012, Kleybanova made a full-time comeback last May, easing herself back into competitive tennis with a mixture of the odd high-profile tournament and appearances on the ITF Circuit.

The Russian has stepped up her activity and competition level this year, playing five events, with the highlight a fourth round run in Indian Wells. On Friday she will face the latest challenge of her comeback when she takes on recent Australian Open champion Li Na in the second round in Miami.

Williams started EleVen by Venus in 2007, before relaunching it five years later as a active lifestyle brand. In addition to Kleybanova, the range is also worn by Australia's Jarmila Gajdosova.
