MIAMI, FL, USA - Caroline Wozniacki took some time out of her busy schedule to visit the Baptist Children's Hospital in Miami before her Sony Open Tennis campaign kicked off. In addition to talking with the children Wozniacki also gave them an array of gifts including large tennis balls, t-shirts and hats.

"It was a great time," Wozniacki said. "It puts a smile on the kids' faces and mine. It's good to see how happy and optimistic everyone is."

Wozniacki will begin this year's Sony Open Tennis against WTA rising star Monica Puig on Friday.
